Our new paper on reliability displays augmented with scents was accepted to the 2019 Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces in Los Angeles and is already available online on Research Gate (and soon the ACM DL). My colleague Philipp Wintersberger will present it!
In collaboration with Dmitrijs Dmitrenko (University of Sussex), a researcher on olfactory interfaces in the automotive HCI domain, we explore scents as arousing or calming option, which can improve observation performance in low automation levels.
